Helping business owners find thier way through the federal government maze.

Types of Contracts

We encourage different Business owners to identify a NAICS Code that covers the most possible coverage of the services they provide. It is like painting a room with the largest Brush possible. The Federal Government is paperless and use the Internet to find service providers. The Primary NAICS code is critical for a company to be found by a Contracting officer who is looking for companies that have one or more of the five mandatory Sub Contracting Certifications for their yearly budget. The Small Business Liaison Officer is the person who sets the Sub Contracting Goals for each Agency on a per project basis. Even if the Contracting Officer has a large business Contract there will be Sub Contracting Goals set for each Contract. Large Business has to get bids from companies who can fill these Sub contracting goals. If they do not contact these companies and include them in their bids they will be considered Non Compliant.

The Five Sub contracting Goals are:

  1. Woman Owned
  2. 8A
  3. Hub Zone
  4. Veteran Owned
  5. Service Disabled Veteran Owned

And don't forget...

  • Woman Owned, 8A and Service Disabled Veteran owned can Sole Source Contracts (Negotiate).
  • Hub Zone and Veteran owned Companies are given A 10% advantage over non certified Companies.
  • We use information provided by companies who have contracts to watch Government Spending.
  • We are able to find the volume each Agency spends on the services that the company we are working with provides.
  • The owner is able to make a marketing decision based on Fact.
